About fifteen years ago, researchers in business administration and economics started using textual analysis methods to systematically analyze the information content of documents like newspaper articles, firms’ financial reports, analyst and credit rating reports, internet message boards, and transcripts of central bank meetings. In this course, students will learn how textual analysis methods work and how to implement them in Python.
