Constantin Ehret is an external doctoral candidate at the Institute for Family Business & Mittelstand at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and scholarship holder of the EQUA Foundation. His research focuses on divestments of family firms and their impact on enterprising families.
Coming from an entrepreneurial family himself, the topic of family firms is deeply embedded in his DNA. He studied Corporate Management and Economics at Zeppelin University and Entrepreneurship at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. During this time, he was involved in several, awarded research projects on family firms, exploring their innovation culture, employer branding, and Generation Y’s perception of them, as well as opportunities for innovation collaborations with startups.
In addition, he has extensive practical experience in these fields and in family firm consulting. Alongside his doctorate, he is currently responsible for Business Development and Partnerships at Maschinenraum in Berlin.
