Dr. Yasin Yilmaz

Dr. Yasin Yilmaz completed his doctorate at the Chair of Family Business and Mittelstand at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management from July 2021 to October 2024. His research focuses on organisational resilience, in particular on the interactions between individual and entrepreneurial resilience in family businesses. His dissertation is entitled ‘The resilience of family businesses and business families’.

Yasin has been working as an Investment Manager at the BRAWO Group in Braunschweig since January 2024. In November 2024, he also took over the position of Managing Director of BRAWO Brands GmbH. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience at MHP - A Porsche Company, where he most recently worked as a Senior Consultant and Project Manager. His other professional stations include companies such as BMW, Robert Bosch NV/SA in Brussels, Aldi and Remondis.

His academic background includes a Master of Science in Marketing from the University of Salford and a dual study programme at the Welfenakademie in Braunschweig.
