Short biography:

Marius Hatzenbühler has a dual bachelor's degree with a focus on product & Innovation Management at the European University of Applied Sciences including a study abroad at San Diego State University and a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship at the International School of Management in Cologne as well as in Management & Strategy at Edinburgh Napier University. Since January 2020 he has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Chair of Technology and Innovation Management. In addition to his studies, he has held various professional positions in the energy, consulting, and start-up industry and co-founded the entrepreneurship conference RHIVE. Currently, he is supporting a company builder in Cologne in addition to his work at WHU.

Research Focus:

His research interest is the exploration of the interplay between tradition and innovation. In particular, it involves discovering what tradition means in a business context and which characteristics and factors promote or prevent innovation.
