About the event
The Supply Chain Thought Leaders Conference is an annual forum that brings together leading researchers in operations and supply chain management from top institutions worldwide.
In 2026, the conference will be hosted by Professor Arnd Huchzermeier at the BMW Welt in Munich. This year’s focus will be on “Exploring AI’s Role in Manufacturing Innovation and Systemic Resilience”, highlighted through expert presentations, panel discussions, and insights from invited industry speakers.
Participants will also have the opportunity to join exclusive plant visits to BMW and AGCO/Fendt, offering a close look at state-of-the-art manufacturing and supply chain practices.

The SCTL Conference 2026 will take place from June 29 to July 1, 2026.
Accommodation for participants is available at the Hilton Munich City at a special rate of €179.00 per night (King Guest Room) or €204.00 per night (King Room with Courtyard View), including breakfast and all taxes. This rate is valid for bookings made until May 8, 2026.
For arrivals before June 29 (up to four days earlier), a preferred rate of €179 per night (€199 for double occupancy) applies. For stays after July 1 (up to four days later), the applicable rate is €219 per night (€239 for double occupancy).
