Research on sustainable product line extensions - in exchange with the international community

Washington, D.C. - At this year's Association for Consumer Research (ACR) Annual Conference, titled “Buying and Beyond,” Annika Hagen presented her poster “Consumer Responses to Conventional and Sustainable Line Extensions: Using Decomposed Market Effects to Predict Choice Behavior.” The conference, which brings together researchers from around the world every year, once again offered a diverse program covering consumer behavior, sustainability, and methodological innovations.

During the poster session, Annika had the opportunity to present and discuss her research approaches and findings with an international audience. The poster presented an innovative approach that uses decomposed market effects to model consumer responses to conventional and sustainable line extensions.
