EWG Pricing & Revenue Management @ Luxembourg

On 4 December 2025, Professor Arne Strauss presented at the annual Pricing and Revenue Management Workshop of the EURO Working Group, hosted this year at the University of Luxembourg. The event brought together leading researchers to discuss advances in dynamic pricing, mobility services, and data-driven revenue management. The workshop featured a diverse set of presentations ranging from airline revenue optimisation, Bayesian auction design to service encounter optimisation.

Professor Strauss contributed recent research on efficient delivery operations and demand management for meal delivery platforms (joint work with Florentin Hildebrandt, Marlin Ulmer, and Ziga Lesjak - forthcoming in Management Science), focusing on how controlling the rank-order display of restaurant options can influence customer choice and operational performance alongside fleet control. The workshop provided an excellent forum for discussing these topics with fellow scholars and industry experts.
