Last week, the bachelor students at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Managementreceived fascinating insights into corporate planning from Georgios Stratigakis. The Vice President Group Financial Controlling of Deutsche Telekom AG shared his insights into the development process and continuous improvement of the “Campus for Planning” format with the students. Deutsche Telekom AG introduced this format eleven years ago to address specific challenges in corporate planning. These challenges, which include the susceptibility to errors and the enormous resource requirements, had been discussed in the class leading up to the guest lecture. The real-life example from Deutsche Telekom AG perfectly complemented these conceptual discussions.

Georgios Stratigakis closed his guest lecture with an overview of possible integration and the potential of digital technologies for the future of corporate planning, such as and machine learning and generative artificial intelligence.

Thank you very much, Georgios Stratigakis, for this inspiring guest lecture!
