Cooperation with global logistics service provider DB Schenker grows stronger
The Entrepreneurship Center of WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and logistics provider DB Schenker have entered a close partnership. As a starting point for this new cooperation, DB Schenker will support the new Developing Novel Business Model course as part of WHU's Bachelor in International Business Administration.
The Entrepreneurship Center at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management aims to create a rich entrepreneurial ecosystem in which students, investors, startups and corporates can interact. To realize this objective, a new strategic partnership has now been established between the WHU Entrepreneurship Center and DB Schenker.
As a starting point for this partnership, DB Schenker’s Venture Building unit supports a Venture sprint in the "Developing Novel Business Model Course" in WHU's bachelor program. For this Venture Sprint, different student teams will develop novel business models to address relevant challenges for the DB Schenker ecosystem. DB Schenker’s Venture Building unit provides specific tools and templates that enable students to develop creative business models in a real environment. During speed dating sessions, students will receive the opportunity to exchange their ideas with several managers and stakeholders of DB Schenker in order to fine-tune their ideas. The students are also challenged to use multiple generative AI tools to accelerate the business development process.
