Invited Talk by Prof. Arnd Huchzermeier on Virtual Markets at INSEAD

On April 18, 2025, Professor Dr. Arnd Huchzermeier was hosted by Professor Jürgen Mihm at the INSEAD campus in Fontainebleau. As part of a workshop organized by the Technology and Operations Management Faculty, he presented his latest research on blockchain-enabled capacity market simulations.

In his talk titled “Behavioral Simulation of Blockchain-Enabled Market for Supplier Capacity Trading among Retailers”, Professor Huchzermeier shared empirical insights into decision-making processes on digital trading platforms. The study has been accepted for publication in Management Science; a working paper is available on SSRN.

The workshop addressed faculty members from both the Fontainebleau and Singapore campuses and focused on the role of emerging technologies in operations and supply chain strategy.
