In the FT European Business School Ranking, WHU has moved up to first place in Germany and #16 in Europe

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management has reached first place in Germany (#2 in 2022) in the renowned Financial Times (FT) 2023 European Business School Ranking. In Europe, the business school is ranked #16. “These outstanding ranking results is strong proof of our efforts to promote thought leadership and to be among the leading European business schools,” states Professor Christian Andres, Dean of WHU. “The fact that we have moved up by seven places over a five-year period compared to pre-COVID-19 times [#23 in 2019] is a testament to our success, made possible by our dedicated community and the excellence of our students and alumni.”

This excellent overall score is the result of WHU’s placements in various other rankings published this year by the Financial Times, where the school continuously places among the best programs in Europe: The Master in Management Program has advanced two positions (from 2022), now sitting at #11, while the MBA Program holds a strong position at #20. The Kellogg-WHU EMBA Program has made it to #16 in Europe. Additionally, WHU has claimed #20 in the Open Executive Education Programs this year and #36 in the Customized Executive Education Programs, the latter of which are tailored to the needs of individual companies.

Overall, 90 European business schools participated in this year’s ranking, including the University of St. Gallen (#6), ESMT Berlin (#19), Mannheim Business School (#17), the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management (#26), and the HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management (#65).
