The Faculty Research Seminars at WHU provide a regular forum for exchange between researchers across all fields of business, finance, and economics. The aim is to promote interdisciplinary dialogue.
Internationally renowned guests present their research on topics of current interest. The talks provide both depth for specialist listeners and breadth for a broad audience.
The seminar series is convened by Professor Michael Massmann (Chair of Econometrics and Statistics) and takes place once or twice per semester.

The first Faculty Research Seminar marked the launch of a new event series at WHU, designed to actively promote academic exchange among faculty members. The centerpiece was a thought-provoking expert talk that not only stimulated reflection but also sparked lively discussions. Afterwards, participants gathered in a relaxed atmosphere to connect personally and gain new inspiration.
