Professor Kammerlander to hold online info session on WHU’s New Sustainability Management Center on February 71
In mid-December of last year, WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management saw its new Sustainability Management Center get down to work. On February 7, 2024, the center will formally introduce itself during an online info session held over Zoom. This platform is designed to broadcast the results of the school’s sustainability-related research to its own network and to the general public, as well as to coordinate and coalesce the school’s activities in this area. The center will facilitate exchanges between the school and its alumni, as well as between partner organizations, corporates, start-ups, and SMEs, and allow them to share their own perspectives as managers active in this area. WHU confirmed its stance on the importance of economic, social, and ecological sustainability when it announced last spring that Professor Nadine Kammerlander would become the school’s first ever Associate Dean of DEI & Sustainability.
Professor Kammerlander will explain the concept behind the center and provide a run-down of its current activities at the first of the new Quarterly Academic Series, held in conjunction with In Praxi – WHU Alumni Association. The members of the center will also be introduced, as well as the next steps the center plans to take.
“Introducing the New Sustainability Center” will take place on Wednesday, February 7, from 7:00 P.M. (19:00) to 8:00 P.M. (20:00) and is open to anyone interested in sustainability.
