A new ranking from Wirtschaftswoche reveals high levels of student satisfaction with WHU’s Global Online MBA
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management ranks at #7 and walks away with a score of 2,50 (on the German scale) in the “business schools” category of “The Best Providers of Digital Education 2022,” a ranking published by business magazine Wirtschaftswoche. This score shows that the school has jumped ahead seven positions since last year. For the fourth edition of this ranking, the magazine worked with the analysis and consultancy group Service Value to poll enrollees from 111 digitally equipped institutions of higher education in Germany on their level of satisfaction. In total, the two entities considered some 10,274 reviews across nine different categories.
According to Professor Jürgen Weigand, academically responsible for the Global Online MBA, “The clear upward trend in the ranking shows that students are responding well to the Global Online MBA, which debuted at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. And that our continued commitment to improving the program, and to digitization in general, is having the desired effect.” The program offers students from all over the world the chance to earn their degrees exclusively in a digital format while, thanks to modern technology, still remaining in contact with their classmates and professors. But it is just one example of the digital offerings implemented recently that make interactive learning at WHU more attractive. Another is the one-button studio, which, as its name suggests, allows professors and speakers to record their lectures and show them on the big screen with the click of a button.
The providers considered in the ranking publishes by Wirtschaftswoche include business schools, e-learning services, distance learning schools, and institutes specializing in continued education.
